In order to obtain a lane/sidewalk closure permit you will need the following three things:
1. A brief letter or email stating the nature of the work and dates/times you wish to be in the roadway/sidewalk. A 5 day business day notice is mandatory.
2. A Traffic Control Plan that follows Chapter 6 of the MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) showing the proper work zone signage and methods needed (flaggers, cones, etc.) needed for a safe lane closure.
3. Permit fees paid which consist of a $150 permit fee and $50 per working day inspection fees.
*Lane closures are only allowed 9am - 4pm Monday-Friday
