The Glen Lennox Area Neighborhood has been designated by the Town Council as a Neighborhood Conservation District zoning overlay.

Notice: Some elements of the Glen Lennox Neighborhood Conservation District are no longer enforceable by the Town due to the enactment of North Carolina Session Law 2015-86, which became law on June 19, 2015.

The Glen Lennox Area Neighborhood Conservation District Plan is comprised of three parts: CD-8A, CD-B, and CD-8C. Different regulations were developed for different sections of the neighborhood to better represent and regulate the varying characters of the different sections.

  • CD-8A and CD-8B - Single-Family Section: The areas zoned as CD-8A and CD-8B include the single-family section of the Glen Lennox Area Neighborhood. CD-8A includes Flemington Road, Hayes Drive, and Oakwood Drive. CD-8B includes Rogerson Drive.

These regulations were adopted by the Town Council on October 26, 2011.

The Glen Lennox Area Neighborhood Conservation District Plan outlines the regulations for the neighborhood. Any new construction or additions must comply with these regulations.

The regulations for these two sections can be found below:
