Recreation Programs and Events

The Parks and Recreation Department strives to create “fun beyond imagination” by offering a variety of programs and events and activities for all ages. Spring festivities include Dixie Rock and an Adventure Program Festival. The Chapel Hill Community Center serves as the host site for the annual Haunted Hill Halloween Fest.

This exhibit combines teen art depicting visions for the future of Chapel Hill parks, recreation and greenways with Town plans drawn up by local elementary schoolers. The reception begins at 6:30 p.m.
