Possible updates pertaining to the Reformatting and Reorganization of the land development regulations document will focus on simplification, clear document navigation and graphical illustrations.
Document Reformatting and Reorganization are components of a larger project which aims to update the Town's current set of land development regulations known as the "LUMO" (Land Use Management Ordinance). The LUMO is being updated so that it can be modernized and aligned with the Town's 2012 Comprehensive Plan (Chapel Hill 2020).
Status Update: The Reformat & Reorganize topic area has been moved to a future phase (meaning not Phase 1) when this effort can be used to tie in all other updates that have come before it.
