Work Opportunities
The Town of Chapel Hill offers a summer youth employment program. Applications are now being accepted for the 2019 summer program. Visit www.townofchapelhill.org/jobs to apply.

Town Volunteer Opportunities
Various departments offer different volunteer opportunities. See below to learn more and find out who to contact.

Parks and Recreation has volunteer opportunities in sports, events, cultural arts, and recreation activities. See all that's available here. There are also a variety of part-time and seasonal  paid job opportunities, such as Lifeguard and Camp Counselor positions, that can be applied for by going to https://www.townofchapelhill.org/jobs.

Chapel Hill Public Library runs a volunteer program for middle and high school students. Students typically
volunteer for two hours per week at the same time and day. The bulk of the work is helping shelve children's
materials, though there may be other occasional projects. The volunteer program is in high demand, and we are
