Description: The Town has received a Special Use Permit application from Leon Capital Group for the redevelopment of the Performance AutoMall site, located at 1810 Fordham Boulevard. The site is located on the east side of US 15-501, Fordham Boulevard. The buildings associated with the AutoMall are proposed to be demolished. The project proposes to construct a grocery store totaling approximately 130,000 square feet of floor area. Parking for 750 vehicles is also proposed. Access to the site is proposed from Fordham Boulevard (US 15-501) and Old Durham-Chapel Hill Road. The 14-acre site is located in the Community Commercial-Conditional (CC-C) and the Neighborhood Commercial (NC) zoning districts.
