Description (UPDATE 10/3/2025): Redevelopment of the 42 acre site of the University Place mall, with modifications to the existing structure and new construction intended to bring buildings closer to the surrounding streets.
A portion of the existing mall has been removed and replaced with a central gathering area and pedestrian access. New apartments with structured parking have been built along Willow Drive. New commercial buildings ahve been added between the existing mall and Fordham Blvd.
The Special Use Permit approval allows additional redevelopment on the site, with the opportunity for more buildings along Fordham Blvd. and Estes Drive.
