The Town is currently working on an expansion of trail and connectivity projects along Morgan Creek, in southern Chapel Hill. Currently the Town operates a 1.6 mile paved trail system (Fan Branch and Morgan Creek Trails). The Fan Branch Trail connects the southern tip of Southern Community Park with the Morgan Creek Trail. The existing Morgan Creek Trail extends from the Merritt's Pasture to a parking lot just east of Kingswood Apartments.

We gathered input and comments from the public that will be analyzed prior to development of a more detailed plan. This was a very important meeting that will help set the future direction of these projects.
