Pursuant to Section 143-131 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for Fire Damage Repair and Restoration, Chapel Hill Public Housing, Oakwood Apartments (the “Project”) to be furnished to the Town of Chapel Hill, N.C. will be received by Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Chapel Hill, N.C., until 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 9, 2020.
Prospective bidders may view the plans and specifications for the proposed project on the Town of Chapel Hill website. (www.townofchapelhill.org. Click on “Businesses” menu, then “Bid Notices” option, then the name of this project)
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 23, 2020, at 11:00 AM on-site at 605 Oak Avenue, E-1, Carrboro, North Carolina. All potential bidders are hereby notified that attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bids to be considered by the Town of Chapel Hill; failure to attend will disqualify bid.
The Project Manager for this project is Andrew Reeder, Maintenance Supervisor, Chapel Hill Public Housing, Town of Chapel Hill. All requests for interpretations related to this RFB must be submitted in writing by email to AReeder@Townofchapelhill.org by 5:00 PM on Friday, June 26, 2020. All responses to timely submitted requests for interpretations will be published in the form of an addendum on the Town’s website on Thursday, July 2, 2020.
