Pursuant to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for the Tanyard Branch Trail Phase 3 Project (the "Project) to be furnished to the Town of Chapel Hill, N.C. will be received by Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, at the Town Hall in Meeting Room 301 on the third floor, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Chapel Hill, N.C., until June 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at which time they will be opened and publicly read. Please allow extra time for parking, as it may be necessary to park at the Wallace Parking Deck located at 150 E. Rosemary Street approximately 4 blocks from the Town Hall or at alternative locations.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM on June 6, 2017, at the large Umstead Park picnic shelter, 399 Umstead Drive, Chapel Hill. All potential bidders are hereby notified that attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bids to be considered by the Town of Chapel Hill; failure to attend will disqualify bid.

This is a re-bid. Although we urge everyone to attend, any person and/or firm who was in attendance or represented at the original May 16, 2017 Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will not be required to attend this pre-bid conference.

The Project Manager for this project is Bill Webster, Parks and Recreation Department, Town of Chapel Hill. All requests for interpretations related to this RFB must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager at by 5:00 PM on June 7, 2017. All responses to timely submitted requests for interpretations will be published in the form of an addendum and emailed to the pre-bid meeting attendees on June 8, 2017.
