Pursuant to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for the Roof Replacement – Public Works Campus (the “Project) to be furnished to the Town of Chapel Hill, N.C. will be received by Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, at the Town Hall in the First Floor Conference Room #102, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, 27514 until 2:00 p.m., on September 3, 2025, at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
Prospective bidders may view the plans and specifications for the proposed project on the Town of Chapel Hill website (www.townofchapelhill.org. Click on “Businesses” menu, then “Bid Notices” option, then the name of this project)
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on August 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in the Large First Floor Conference Room, Building #1, 6850 Millhouse Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. All potential bidders are hereby notified that attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bids to be considered by the Town of Chapel Hill; failure to attend will disqualify the bid.
The Project Manager for this project is Forrest Heath, Public Works, Town of Chapel Hill. All requests for interpretations related to this RFB must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager at fheath@townofchapelhill.org by 4:00 p.m. on August 11, 2025. All responses to timely submitted requests for interpretations will be issued as an addendum and emailed to prospective bidders who attend the mandatory pre-bid conference on August 18, 2025.
