Chapel Hill Ranks #15 on Money’s Magazine’s Best Places for the Rich and Single

Franklin Street ShopsChapel Hill ranks as one of the Best Places for the Rich and Single, according to CNN Money Magazine.   
The magazine reported that 51 percent of the Chapel Hill population is single, and the median family income is $105,327. Those stats give Chapel Hill 15th place in a list of 25 cities.

The article states: "In Chapel Hill, the color of money runs Carolina blue. Home to UNC, the town and its people exude college-town cool with a healthy dose of Southern charm. For sheer numbers in your dating pool, catch some Tar Heel b-ball at the Dean Dome along with 20,000 like-minded individuals.

Also in August 2012, Chapel Hill was included in the list of Best Places to Live in America by CNN Money Magazine. This recognition ties in closely with numerous other rankings that praise the livability of the community.
