FY 2020-2021 Budget Adoption

COVID-19 Pandemic Response The Council will receive an update from Town of Chapel Hill Emergency Management Coordinator Kelly Drayton on the Town’s response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
LUMO Text Amendments – Experiential Retail
The Council will consider Land Use Management Ordinance (LUMO) Text Amendment changes to Section 3.7 and Appendix A related to permitting flex office in the Town Center Zoning Districts and expanding definitions related to types of retail.
Zoning Atlas Amendment – Innovation Hub
The Council will consider an application for a zoning atlas amendment at 137 East Franklin Street and 136 East Rosemary for the Street Innovation Hub.
CARES Act Funding
The Council will consider a budget ordinance amendment to receive the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocation of $746,410.
Conditional Zoning – Weavers Grove, 7516 Sunrise Road
The Council will consider an application for conditional zoning at Weavers Grove, 7516 Sunrise Road. The proposed change is from Residential-2 (R-2) to Residential-6 Conditional Zoning (R-6-CZ) and Neighborhood Commercial Conditional Zoning (NC-CZ).
Close Public Hearings: 125 E. Rosemary St. Redevelopment Project
The Council is expected to close the public hearings on an Economic Development Agreement for the East Rosemary Street Redevelopment Project and Conditional Zoning at 125 E. Rosemary Street.
Boards and Commissions Appointments
The Council will consider appointing members to the Board of Adjustment, Historic District Commission, Orange Water and Sewer Authority Board of Directors, and Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization Board.
