June 19, 2020, Proclaimed Juneteenth

Short-Term Rental Task Force Final Findings

COVID-19 Pandemic Response

Affordable Housing Bond and Affordable Housing Development Reserve Funding Plan 
The Council approved the Affordable Housing Bond and Affordable Housing Development Reserve Funding Plan to support $5.25 million worth of affordable housing development projects in the community.  For more information about affordable housing in Chapel Hill, visit townofchapelhill.org/government/departments-services/housing-and-community/affordable-housing

North-South Bus Rapid Transit Update 
The Council approved a revision to the Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA) for the North-South Corridor Study. LUMO Update 
The Council received an update on the Land Use Management Ordinance (LUMO) and Town Code amendments related to North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 160D. Item Moved: Public Hearing: Conditional Zoning at 125 E. Rosemary St. Parking Garage 
The Council postponed the public hearing on the conditional zoning at 125 E. Rosemary St. Parking Garage to its June 24 meeting. 

Item Moved: Elliott Road Extension Project Next Steps 
The Council item to consider authorizing the Town Manager to finalize arrangements to construction of the Elliott Road Extension Project was pulled from the agenda. The schedule for this item will be updated soon.  This project will connect Fordham Boulevard with Ephesus Church Road.
