How to Watch 

Policing Protocols and Community Assistance Initiatives 
The Council will receive a presentation from Town Manager Maurice Jones, Police Chief and Executive Director for Community Safety Chris Blue, and Executive Director for Housing and Community Loryn Clark. The presentation will focus on ongoing efforts of community assistance, equity, and inclusion. 

Affordable Housing Bond and Affordable Housing Development Reserve Funding Plan 
The Council will consider the Affordable Housing Bond and Affordable Housing Development Reserve Funding Plan to support $5.25 million worth of affordable housing development projects in the community. 

Public Hearings 
The Council will hold public hearings on the following topics. The public is invited to share their comments via the Zoom link above. If you are not able to attend the meeting, you can share your comments via email by sending them to mayorandcouncil@townofchapelhill.org

  • Recommended Budget for Fiscal Year 2020-2021
  • Conditional Zoning at 125 E. Rosemary St. Parking Garage
  • Application for Zoning Atlas Amendment, the 137 E. Franklin St. Innovation Hub
  • Land Use Management Ordinance (LUMO) Text Amendment – Proposed Changes Regarding Flex Office Space and Definitions Related to Types of Retail
  • Conditional Zoning at Weavers Grove, 7516 Sunrise Road

North-South Bus Rapid Transit Update 
The Council will consider revising the Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA) for the North-South Corridor Study and submitting it to the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization.
