OWASA will hold a series of community engagement sessions regarding an upcoming project on West Cameron Avenue.
The project will involve a contractor replacing water lines, along with sections of sewer pipes and lines carrying chilled water in UNC-Chapel Hill's system, along West Cameron Avenue from Merritt Mill Road to Columbia Street.
Community members are invited to learn more about the project at three drop-in sessions scheduled for Jan. 27, 28, and 30.
OWASA staff will be set up at South Roberson Apartments at the corner of Robseron Street and Cameron Avenue from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27; outside the dining hall of Granville Towers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28; and in the South Parlor Room of the Carolina Inn from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30.
Staff will have details about the project and would like to hear from residents and customers to answer any questions or note any concerns raised about the project.
