The Mayor’s Southern Area Focus Group will meet from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 103 Market Street in Southern Village to further discuss the study area and consider connections between current and future uses, including the possible location of a children’s museum.
This meeting will have urban design assistance to capture ideas and recommendations. The group’s goal is to provide high-level recommendations to the Town Council in March.
There will be time at the end of the meeting when members of the public may comment on the session, as there will not be public comment during the design workshop portion. The focus group will transmit all comments to the Council with the group’s recommendations. Comment cards will be available for any members of the public wishing to comment but who are unable to be present for the entire meeting.
