The Town of Chapel Hill’s Technology Solutions department presents Code for Chapel Hill’s year-end social at Chapel Hill Public Library, 100 Library Drive, Meeting Room A, on Tuesday, Dec. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Code for Chapel Hill is a brigade in the Code for America network. Some of the group’s activities over the past year included a civic data hack-a-thon as well as members working with local government agencies to further their knowledge of civic technology.
The social will present opportunities for the public to discuss Code for Chapel Hill, civic tech, and celebrate the successes of the past year. Coders, high-school students, project managers, developers, graphic artists, strong organizers, big thinkers, and all civic-minded individuals are encouraged to attend to review the past year and make plans for 2020.
