Public Information Meeting: Conditional Zoning Text Amendment
The community is invited to a public information meeting to learn more and share feedback on a proposed conditional zoning text amendment being considered by the Town of Chapel Hill. The meeting is set for 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, in Room A of the Chapel Hill Public Library.
The Town is evaluating potential modifications to Articles 3 and 4 of the Land Use Management Ordinance (LUMO) related to conditional zoning.

The purpose of the text amendment is to:
- Adjust Concept Plan thresholds of Conditional Zoning to be the same as other applications (ie. Special Use Permits) for Town Council review;
- Allow multi-family developments to be approved through Conditional Zoning process; and
- Clarify other development application processes with housekeeping of the Ordinance regarding Conditional Zoning process.
