Hurricane Dorian 

The National Weather Service in Raleigh is forecasting impacts from Hurricane Dorian to begin in our area on Thursday afternoon. Tropical-storm-force winds and heavy rainfall are expected through Friday.

The Town of Chapel Hill will have facilities and resources on hand to respond to downed trees, traffic signals that are without power, and flooding.

Call Center

For non-emergency questions related to Hurricane Dorian, the Town of Chapel Hill will open a call center on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The number is 919-969-5005.
