On Saturday, May 25, the A.D. Clark Pool is scheduled to open
There's nothing like enjoying a warm summer day, with family and friends on the pool deck. Across the country, people are running to their nearest pools and waterfronts to cool off, get active and have fun. We are dedicated to operating three community pools, hiring lifeguards and preparing fun and relaxing programs.
On Saturday, May 25, Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation's only outdoor pool, the A.D. Clark Pool, is scheduled to open for the 2019 summer season
Located at the Hargrave's Community Center, the free outdoor swimming pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The 25-meter pool offers a zero-depth entry pool, locker rooms, showers and a family changing area. There is a wading pool for pre-school aged children and toddlers (swim diapers required).
The pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Monday, May 25 and 27, Sunday, May 26 1-6 p.m and weekdays hours this week, May 28-31 are 4:30 - 6 p.m. The wading pool is scheduled to open at later date, in order to complete minor repairs.
