What: Open House: GoTriangle and Chapel Hill Cooperative Agreement

When: 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, before the Chapel Hill Town Council Meeting at 7 p.m.

More Info: GoTriangle will host an open house regarding the Cooperative Agreement, which the Town Council will consider later this evening. The open house is an opportunity for residents to see the light rail project design and ask questions of staff about the light rail project in general and the Cooperative Agreement in particular, including recent changes made to the agreement in response to feedback received from the Town Council on Nov. 28.

Meeting materials regarding the cooperative agreement including a summary of changes to the agreement, a comparison between the revised Chapel Hill Agreement and the Durham Agreement, and the full agreement itself are available on the Dec. 5, 2018 Town Council agenda on Town’s website: www.townofchapelhill.org | Direct Link to agenda item: https://bit.ly/2PljYTA

The open house has been scheduled in response to feedback received from Town Council members to 1) revise the cooperative agreement, 2) provide a transparent way to share the revisions with residents and 3) provide an opportunity for residents to see the light rail project design and ask questions of subject matter experts working on the project.
