Community Meetings with Residents Born in Other Countries
Are you a resident born in another country? If yes, the Chapel Hill Building Integrated Communities project would like to hear from you! Join us and share your opinion on recommendations on public transportation, housing, Town communications, law enforcement and leadership opportunities that will be made to local government and community services in the coming year. All residents are welcome and meeting locations are wheelchair accessible.
- Thursday, Sept. 27, 7-8:30 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (940 Carmichael St., Chapel Hill, 27514). Community conversations in Burmese, English, Karen, and Spanish languages. Childcare is provided.
- Wednesday Oct. 10, 9-10:30 a.m. at the Robert and Pearl Seymour Center (2551 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, 27516). Community conversations in English and Mandarin languages. No childcare.
Chapel Hill Building Integrated Communities is a collaborative project of UNC-Chapel Hill, the Town of Chapel Hill, community organizations, and immigrant and refugee community members.
