Annual maintenance schedule and outdoor pool closings this fall at Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation
With the Fall season, comes plans for college football and enjoying the sunny outdoors in our parks. The A.D. Clark outdoor swimming pool will close September 4, our annual maintenance schedules are announced for the Hargraves Center and the Chapel Hill Community Center. Oh, and don't forget the Dog Swim on September 8!
The A.D. Clark outdoor pool will be open to people through Sept. 3 on the following schedule for the Labor Day Holiday weekend.:
Friday, Aug. 31: 4:30 pm.- 6 p.m.
Saturday, Sept 1: 10 pm-6 p.m.
Sunday, Sept.2: 1-6 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 3: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
And a reminder ... the 14th Annual Orange County Dog Swim, sponsored by Orange County Animal Services and Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation, will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 12 to 3 p.m. at the A.D. Clark Pool located at the Hargraves Community Center at 216 N. Roberson St. in Chapel Hill.
The Hargraves Center is currently CLOSED for annual maintenance, August 20 - 26, 2018. During this closure, the Chapel Hill Community Center Gym and Rashkis Elementary Gyms will be open for regular hours.
The Chapel Hill Community Center at 120 S. Estes Drive will be CLOSED for annual maintenance from September 11-17, 2018. During this closure, the Homestead Aquatic Center will be open for swim patrons. Northside Gym at the Hargraves Center, and the Rashkis Elementary Gym will be open.
