Lane Closures: Pritchard Avenue

Post Date:08/02/2018 2:30 PM

A contractor for the Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) will perform lane closures at the intersection of Pritchard Avenue and West Rosemary Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily Wednesday, Aug. 8, through Friday, Aug. 17. This schedule is dependent on favorable weather.

Two-way traffic will be maintained, and flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.

The closure is part of OWASA’s water main replacement along Pritchard Avenue. The contractor wants to complete this section of the project before UNC-Chapel Hill students return (move-in weekend begins Saturday, Aug. 18). The contractor will return after about a month to continue the project.
