Fall Recreation Program Now Open for Registration
The Department’s programs offer a wide range of activities, all of which encourage community engagement and create a healthier and more livable community for all.
Delve into a new experience this fall and tap into your artistic side -- multiple youth and adult ceramics arts programs are offered, including Wheel Throwing, Handbuilding and Sculpture classes. Practicing pottery is therapeutic and relaxing, and will allow children and adults alike to have a improve their focus while expressing their creativity! Teens can also express their creativity through a Wire Wrapping class or an Open Mic session, while adults can participate in a Line Dancing or Cooking class. Engaging in the arts is a great way to explore different cultures, relieve stress, and have fun.
Make sure to browse and register for activities soon using the WebTrac Splash Page -- released last year, the website offers a simple layout with all available programs listed.
To register for activities, create an online WebTrac account. Or, register in person at one of three recreation centers: Chapel Hill Community Center, Hargraves Community Center, and the Homestead Aquatic Center, or drop in at our administrative offices.
