Charting Our Future Drop-In Events at University Place
On Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (July 20 through September), join Town staff at the Police Substation at University Place to learn more about Charting Our Future and tell us how Chapel Hill should be in the year 2049. The Police Substation is located in the hallway near Southern Seasons and is labelled as D11 on the University Place map. Visitors can also enter into a drawing for Silverspot Cinema gift cards.
The Town of Chapel Hill is reaching out to the community in its work to refine the Town’s Land Use Plan, which is in Chapel Hill 2020, the Town’s Comprehensive Plan. The process will eventually develop a Future Land Use Map that looks to the year 2049.
All of the community feedback received during the Charting Our Future Kickoff and Idea Exchange on May 10, the Show & Tell Sessions on June 10 and 11, and the Boards and Commission Breakfast on June 15, 2018 is now on the Project website, ChartingOurFuture.info, on the Resources Page under “Meeting Materials” and “Documents.”
