Residents, commuters and other users of the NC 54 corridor between Old Fayetteville Road in Carrboro and Manning Drive in Chapel Hill are encouraged to attend a community open house from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 29, in Century Hall at the Carrboro Century Center. The community open house is a drop-in format where attendees can review preliminary findings, ask questions and offer valuable first-hand perspectives for improving safety and mobility along the 4.5 mile-long corridor. The Century Center is located at 100 N. Greensboro St. in Carrboro, NC.
The NC 54 Bicycle and Pedestrian Corridor Safety Study is a twelve month-long study that is projected for completion in fall 2019.
