The 2007 Community Art Project: Why?

The theme for the 2007 Community Art Project was Why?  During its fourth consecutive year this community-wide exhibition was on view in public places throughout Chapel Hill and Carrboro during April and May of 2007: Chapel Hill Town Hall, Carrboro Town Hall, Jack Sprat Café, the Carrboro Century Center, the Chapel Hill PTA Thrift Shop, Carol Woods, and the Chapel Hill Public Library.

Everyone who lives, works, or plays in Chapel Hill and Carrboro was invited to create their own piece of art based on the theme Why?  All interpretations of this theme were welcome and included in the show, and participants ranged from toddlers to elders and novices to professional artists.  In the Why? Gallery menu on the left you may click a letter to see works by participants whose last names begin with that letter.
