    Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation and Carolina Baseball announce Parks and Recreation Night at UNC’s Boshamer Stadium at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 4. Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation baseball and softball teams will be recognized on the field prior to #7 ranked Carolina Tar Heels facing in state rival #16 ranked East Carolina Pirates.

    Grand Re-opening of the Parks and Recreation Batting Cages

    The Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host a grand reopening of the Homestead Park Batting Cages on Saturday, April 1st from 12-4 p.m. Free tokens, food, drinks, baseball equipment, Four Tar Heel Baseball tickets UNC vs NC State, April 14, and other prizes will be given away.

    Floraffti is a placemaking and community engagement project for Chapel Hill and Carrboro. The living, growing poetry celebrates April’s National Poetry Month and reflects the vibrant culture of the area. In total, 45 words and phrases have been planted with red clover in highly visible areas.
