Traffic Enforcement and Education Unit officers patrol in both marked police cars and unmarked cars. They focus on speeding in residential neighborhoods and school zones, driving while impaired, high accident locations and other hazardous violations. The unit works with the State Highway Patrol and other agencies in doing seat belt and DWI checkpoints.
Traffic Enforcement and Education officers investigate traffic collisions, from minor fender benders to major injury collisions.
