This multipurpose recreation center offers an indoor pool, gymnasiumclimbing wall and meeting room.  Outside are basketball and bocce ball courts, playground, Gene Strowd Community Rose Garden with gazebo, compost demonstration site, walking trails and picnic tables.

The center offers a variety of programs year-round for all ages.

The Hargraves Community Center complex includes the Hargraves Auditorium and Northside Gymnasium and meeting room. Outside facilities include the A.D. Clark pool, a softball field, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball court, playground and picnic shelter.

Hargraves Community Center and Park offers a variety of programs for all ages year-round.  Afterschool, Teacher Workday and Summer Day Camp for ages 5 -12. Dances for all ages, Girl Scouts, talent and fashion shows for middle and high school youth, trips and holiday programs for senior citizens, Adult Game Night, a computer lab and game room with table tennis and billiard tables.

The center also has rooms that can be rented for meetings and special events.  Look for our bimonthly newsletter for information about program offerings and important issues.  Pick one up at the Hargraves Center, the Chapel Hill Community Center, Chapel Hill Public Library and the Parks and Recreation Administrative office.  We look forward to seeing you at Hargraves Center and Park.
