You may register for our programs in 3 different ways, via our website at www.townofchapelhill.org , in person at one of our centers or our main administration office, or by mailing in your registration. If you choose online, there is a link on the Town’s homepage under “sign up”. This will take you to our online registration page where you may log in and complete a registration. On this same page you can also find the PDF registration form which can be printed off and mailed in. You may register in person at the Homestead Aquatic center, the Community Center, Hargraves, or our main administrative office located at 200 Plant Rd.
Do I qualify for a Fee Reduction?
All Orange County residents who need financial assistance are eligible to apply for a fee reduction. Our fee reduction is based on several factors, using a sliding income/household members scale. We ask for income information verifiable through Orange County Social Services, Chapel Hill Public Housing (for their residents) or by a tax return and pay stub. We will also accept a verification letter from a School Family Specialist. The fee reduction form is available to download from our home page- www.townofchapelhill.org then under “Town Hall” choose Parks and Recreation- from our homepage, click on the link titled Fees and Permits located in the grey menu list on the left. This will take you to the page were a PDF form is available. Forms are also available at our recreation centers or our main administration office located at 200 Plant Rd.
Where are the greenways and trails in Chapel Hill?
Our brochures are printed and posted online 3 times a year- Fall/Winter (September), Spring (January) and Summer (May). Please check the Town’s website or contact our administration office at 919-968-2784 for further information on exact dates.
