Leverage partnerships to increase cultural arts opportunities to enhance civic engagement by:

  • Entering into a performance agreement with FRANK
  • Working with Northside Community-Hudson Vaughn's project at Roberson Street/Rosemary Street
  • Rogers Road projects - Neighbor to Neighbor and Transplanting Traditions (Community Book projects)
  • Teacher Puppet Workshops - Chapel Hill Carrboro Public School Elementary Art Teachers
  • Open Mic Nights at The Corner (Teen Center)
  • Joint project between the Arts Center in Carrboro and the Chapel Hill Parks & Recreation Dept. to conduct a series of pottery classes.
  • Continue to produce "SHIMMER" the Art of Light event, during the month of February
  • Partner in the production of the Chinese Lantern LIGHT IT UP Festival

  • SHIIMMER event is  ongoing
  • Chinese Lantern Festival, completed, will be cosponsoring in the future.
