Welcome to our new web based registration and information portal. I hope that you will take a few moments to browse these various web pages and find out what is available for your enjoyment and self-fulfillment.

Everyone needs the opportunity for self-enrichment, adventure, fellowship and quiet reflection. At the Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation Department, we understand these needs and are dedicated to providing cultural and recreational opportunities in a safe, maintained and inviting environment.

Our goal is to provide for every citizen the opportunity to enhance their quality of life. Our parks and greenways provide space for families and friends to fellowship, play, walk, bike and relax. They provide sanctuary for animals and preserve plant life, improve water quality and help clean our air. They promote quality neighborhoods and higher standards of living that lead to enhanced property values.

Our indoor spaces provide for a variety of activities and programs for all ages and abilities. Information on all of these opportunities can be found here on this web site or by contacting any of our recreation centers or our administrative office.

We're registering for summer programs now.

Three ways to regiser:  online with WebTrac, by mail or in person.  See Registration Information for details.
