Voter Owned Elections – A draft ordinance to establish the Town of Chapel Hill Voter Owned Election Program has been posted on the Town’s website for public review. A public hearing on the proposed program is scheduled for May 14. The Town is the first municipality in the State of North Carolina to be authorized to establish a program to provide public funding to candidates for municipal office.

Town Caps Available
– Town of Chapel Hill baseball caps are available for purchase. The caps are sold for $20 each at the Revenue Collections Window on the first floor of Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Chapel Hill history books and lapel pins are also sold here.
