Meadowmont Park Bridges Replacement

Pursuant to Section 143-131 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for the Meadowmont Park Bridges Replacement Project (the “Project) to be furnished to the Town of Chapel Hill, N.C. will be received by Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Chapel Hill, N.C., until May 25, 2017 at 3:00 PM.

Prospective bidders may obtain copies of the project plans and specifications by emailing the design engineer Patrick Gallagher, PE at prgallagher@aogroup.com. He can also be reached at 919-981-0310 x103.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 3:00 PM on May 11, 2017, at the Meadowmont Park picnic shelter, 621 Meadowmont Lane, Chapel Hill (adjacent to Rashkis School). All potential bidders are hereby notified that attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bids to be considered by the Town of Chapel Hill; failure to attend will disqualify bid.

The Project Manager for this project is Bill Webster, Parks and Recreation Department, Town of Chapel Hill. All requests for interpretations related to this RFB must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager at bwebster@townofchapelhill.org by 5:00 PM on May 15, 2017. All responses to timely submitted requests for interpretations will be published in the form of an addendum on the Town’s website on May 18, 2017.
