The Town of Chapel Hill is among cities such as Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Anaheim, Oakland and Detroit for one of the best places to follow your favorite American pastime, especially if you’re a spectator on a tight budget.

Chapel Hill ranked 12th on a list of 272 cities. WalletHub ranked the cities using metrics such as the performance level of each city’s teams, average ticket and minimum season ticket prices, stadium accessibility and more.

Chapel Hill is the home of the UNC-Chapel Hill “Diamond Heels”, who—despite missing the mark this season—are regularly in the College World Series conversation. The Town offers many restaurants to grab a beer and watch a game of a fan’s favorite team. And, the Durham Bulls are just a few miles away.
