Are you a Chapel Hill, Carrboro or UNC campus resident interested in making a difference? Consider serving on the EZ Rider Advisory Committee.

Chapel Hill Transit is currently looking for community members to serve on the EZ Rider Advisory Committee, a subcommittee of the Chapel Hill Transit Public Transit Committee. The EZ Rider Advisory Committee works to ensure that the transit system is serving the needs of people with disabilities within the service area.

EZ Rider Advisory Committee members serve three-year terms. The committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Public Library (100 Library Drive, Chapel Hill, NC). The average time commitment to serve on this board is about 1 - 3 hours per month. No experience is required—new members will receive training and guidance to support their success.

How to Apply

To apply to serve on the EZ Rider Advisory Committee, submit an application online by noon on June 25, 2018 at www.townofchapelhill.org/boards. You may also call 919 969-4920 to receive an application.

The Chapel Hill Transit Public Transit Committee will make appointments to the EZ Rider Advisory Committee on June 26, 2018.

EZ Rider Advisory Committee Membership

The EZ Rider Advisory Committee is made up of seven (7) members. Each Chapel Hill Transit funding partner (Town of Chapel Hill, Town of Carrboro, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) has one (1) representative. Four (4) representatives are EZ Rider customers, persons from organizations involved in issues that concern people with disabilities, or private citizens who advocate for the needs of people with disabilities.
