Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation releases Summer Programs
Registration begins May 7
New to this year’s line-up are interactive computer camps for youth and teens, a roof-top outdoor movie series, new fitness and adventure programs, and ever so popular ceramic wheel throwing programs.
Featured this summer are FREE outdoor movies all summer long, held outdoors a top the Wallace Plaza at 150 E. Rosemary Street. Movie-goers of all ages will enjoy free popcorn, giant games, and activities. We are happy to bring you a lineup of action packed, science fiction, family and superhero movies for your summertime enjoyment. Youth and Teens will enjoy our new interactive computer camps, that focus on the world of video game design, animation, and creating your own apps. Provided by Youth Tech, Inc. these camps are for ages 6-17 years and provide enriching, positive experiences.
RESIDENTS (persons living in or owning property in Orange County or Chapel Hill town limits) may register beginning 8:30 a.m. on Monday May 7; NON-RESIDENTS may register beginning 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 14.

To sign up, patrons will have to create an online account to register for their classes. Patrons can also register in person at one of three recreation centers, Chapel Hill Community Center, Hargraves Community Center, the Homestead Aquatic Center, or drop in at our administrative offices.
