Motor-Vehicle Collision involving Pedestrian
The Chapel Hill Police and Fire departments and Orange County Emergency Services responded to a motor-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, April 26, on Erwin Road near Dobbins Drive.
The pedestrian was transported to UNC Hospitals and treated for minor injuries.
Abimelec Perez Rubio, 42, of Chapel Hill was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, and no operator’s license.
