Introduction to Development Agreements
A public informational session on the development agreement process will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19 in the Council Chamber of Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
A development agreement is a unique development tool for large projects, and two development agreements are currently being pursued in Chapel Hill:
- The future Municipal Services Center project on Estes Drive
- The Amity Station project at Amity Court and West Rosemary Street

The Bazaar Craft and Art Market is making its debut on the Plaza at 140 West Franklin Street. A variety of artisans will set up shop on the plaza from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3.
Shop handmade local crafts and creations from 20+ talented local makers and awesome eats and drinks from Yee Haw Doughnuts, Merry Franksters, Thai Box Zing Catering, Napoli Wood-Fired Pizza, Soul Cocina Triangle and Carrboro Coffee Roasters, all while you enjoy the vinyl spin of Selector B Steady. The Bazaar is family-friendly and free!
Downtown starts here--don’t miss your opportunity to discover your new favorite crafter! The Plaza at 140 West Franklin creates an inviting experience for all, highlighted by 30,000 square feet of outdoor space and a unique art sculpture titled Exhale.
After the Bazaar, head across the street to the Downtown Chapel Hill Community Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Garden of University Baptist Church; 100 S. Columbia St.
