The Town of Chapel Hill’s annual Arbor Day celebration will be held at 11:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Chapel Hill Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., in the parking lot on the corner of Columbia and Stevens streets.

Suzie Roth’s third grade class from Northside Elementary School will participate and do a presentation of The Giving Tree.

Open House & Status Report: The Future of Mobile Phone Service in Chapel Hill

Learn more about the future of mobile telecommunications in Chapel Hill on Nov. 21 at the following events in the Council Chamber of Chapel Hill Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.  

  • Open House at 6 p.m. – Learn about the Wireless Telecommunications Initiative from Town Staff and CityScape Consultants; and 
  • Planning Commission Meeting at 7 p.m. – Cityscape Consultants will provide a Status Report for the Wireless Telecommunications Initiative to the Planning Commission, regarding an overview of the proposed Wireless Master Plan and Ordinance, an analysis of wireless service gaps, and a summary of wireless facility poll results.
