Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit Public Meetings
GoTriangle is holding two drop-in meetings in Durham and Chapel Hill to check in and inform the public of project updates for the Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit Project.
- The Durham meeting will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the Hayti Heritage Center, 804 Old Fayetteville St., Durham, NC 27701.
- The Chapel Hill meeting with be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at Extraordinary Ventures, 200 S. Elliott Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
The Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit Project is a 17.7-mile project that will provide over 26,000 trips per day to residents and commuters taking advantage of employment, healthcare and educational opportunities in Durham and Chapel Hill. The rail project will connect three of the top 10 employers in the state (Duke University, UNC-Chapel Hill and UNC Health Care).
