The Town of Chapel Hill continues its preparation efforts for the night of Halloween (Tuesday, Oct. 31) with the focus on safety for people and property.

Chapel Hill Transit Service Alert: A and Saturday T Routes to Detour on Hillsborough Street

Chapel Hill Transit will detour the A and Saturday T routes beginning Monday, July 17, due to a water pipe replacement project by the Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) on Hillsborough Street. One-way traffic will be maintained and the routes will be detoured for the outbound trips only (heading towards Martin Luther King).

The outbound trips on the routes will be detoured along Franklin Street from Columbia Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
The detoured routes will not serve bus stops on Hillsborough Street at E. Rosemary Street (#3108), Delta Zeta (#3030), Bolinwood Drive (#3248) and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (#3246).
