Homegrown Halloween: Tuesday, Oct. 31

The Town of Chapel Hill continues its preparation efforts for the night of Halloween (Tuesday, Oct. 31) with the focus on safety for people and property.

CHPD Makes Arrest in Indecent Exposure Cases

The Chapel Hill Police Department has made an arrest in two recent indecent exposures.  On April 30, 2017, a suspect exposed himself to a woman in the parking lot at 201 S. Estes Drive.  On May 8, 2017, a suspect matching the same description exposed himself to a woman in the parking lot at 1800 E. Franklin Street. 

Officers have identified the suspect as Ryan Markius Darrell Person of Fayetteville, NC.  Person has been charged with 2 misdemeanor counts of Indecent Exposure.

Person turned himself in at the Chapel Hill Police Department and is being held at the Orange County Jail under a $13,000 secured bond.
