Homegrown Halloween: Tuesday, Oct. 31

The Town of Chapel Hill continues its preparation efforts for the night of Halloween (Tuesday, Oct. 31) with the focus on safety for people and property.

“We launch a massive cooperative effort to encourage safety at Halloween on Franklin Street,” said Town Manager Roger Stancil. “We are in this together – Town, University, students, businesses and residents – in support of our community and its many visitors.” Click here to read more.

2017 Hargraves Family Fun Day FlyerChapel Hill Park and Recreation's outdoor Family Fun Day Event always provides an excellent opportunity to have some good family time in the community, learn more about what the community has to offer and enjoy some great entertainment.  

The event will be held from 6 until 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Hargraves Community Center, at 216 N. Roberson St., Chapel Hill, NC.

Gather the kids and head over to the Hargraves Community Center — come rain or shine — for an activity-filled family fun day at the park! Enjoy R&B live entertainment by #EPITONE as well as local Gospel artists Souls of Joy and The New Generation Joy bells, Hip Hop artists Young vll, E D 5ft3 3G, DSJ, P3 and Li D aka Chapel Hill President.
