On Thursday, July 28, the main entrance to the Ram’s Head Parking Deck will be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday, July 29. Signs will direct traffic how to enter and exit the deck.

Ridge Road will be close from the north side of the parking deck's entrance to the crosswalk at Boshamer Stadium beginning Monday, August 1 (now Thursday, Aug. 4). Access to the parking deck will be maintained throughout this project. Detour signs will be in place. This closure is scheduled to last until Thursday, August 4 (now Friday, Aug. 5).

Work will continue on Ridge Road through August 11, including paving and placing temporary road markings (a center line, parking spaces and crosswalks). Lane reductions will be necessary and flaggers will be in place to direct traffic. Permanent markings will be placed at a later date to be determined.

Please obey all speed limits and rules of the road when traveling on the detour routes. These routes may be unfamiliar to you; you may see higher traffic from people who walk and people who bike as well as cars backing up from on-street parking.

People who walk may be diverted from sidewalks along the portions of Ridge Road where heavy machinery are working. Alternate walking routes are available in these areas. We appreciate your patience during this time of inconvenience.

Transit delays may occur during this project along the A, CCX, DX, NU, RU and U routes. For more information, visit chtransit.org.

Project Overview
The project began with the replacement of the curb/gutter and ADA sidewalk enhancements on Ridge Road from Manning Drive to the Ram’s Head Parking Deck. When the pavement is replaced, sharrow markings for bicycles and new crosswalks will be added.
